Honduras, Colombia y Costa Rica.
Junta transitoria queda disuelta.
bloquear económicamente a Nicaragua.

Thank You Mam
1)
Breaking news boy steals purse but
fails tragically, Young boy named “Roger” tries to a steal book bag from Mrs.
Luella Bates when the event took place the young boy named “Roger” lost balance
and fell, Mrs. Luella choked him like a chicken and dragged him to her house
and lectured him.
2)
Mrs. Jones is like a mother figure
because she tried to teach Roger right from wrong because she has gone thru the
same as roger and she has done worse things that is why she helped roger
instead of turning him into the police
3)
He doesn’t want to say thank you
because maybe he feels so ashamed to have stolen her purse because she helped him
and feed him. Maybe he wanted to hug her and said thank you.
4)
My imagination could add family picture’s
all over the wall a fire place and a ball of yarn in the floor.
Everybody
has their darks moments that they don’t want to tell but there is always
someone that is willing to help because they have done the same thing as you.
In the story “Thank You Mam” by Langston Hughes it tells us about a young boy
named roger who tries to steal a purse. Instead she helps him for example when
she took him into her home she gave a towel and said “Let the water run until
it gets warm.” This tells us she felt bad for the boy. “Then well eat I believe
you’re hungry or been hungry try to snatch my pocket book.” This shows us how
she also feed him and many people would not do that they would just turn them
in or beat them this comes to show how everybody has had a mistake in their
life and they someone to help them.

1)
The
setting is in school and during the night
2)
The
main characters are Maria and Frankie
3)
The
conflict is that she is a good girl and she wants to act bad
4)
The
word lonely is important because she has no help from anyone and she is basically
the mother to her brother and sister
5)
The
promise is the one that Maria made to her Mother that she will stay in school
and get a good education, this promise is important because that is what is
going to get her through life.
6)
A great example of following your dreams and
keeping your word even if others are pressuring you to break it is in this
story. In the story “Dead End” by Rudolf Anaya it tells us about a girl named
Maria and explains how she is tied between becoming popular and losing
everything that she has work so hard on getting or keeping the promise she made
to her mother. It also tells us how hard
her life is without her mother. She makes a promise to her dying mother Maria
promised to “She would not give up her dreams of getting an education.” By making
this promise challenging her to get a good education, she faces her hardest
challenge yet. The challenge is turning bad for the boy she likes or continues
being good and hope the boy still likes her. The boy Maria likes is a bad boy because
even her little brother says, “He’s the baddest dude in the Barrio”. Maria is a
good girl because Maria says” she didn’t want to disappear she wanted her life
to have a meaning and that meant keeping to her mother’s dream”. What she is
saying is that she will not ruin her mother’s dream for a boy. This also means
that when she dies she wants to leave a good legacy. This come to show that
only you can change your life and only you can give it a meaning.

Brother
My brother is sometimes mean
Sometimes he is annoying
But he is still my brother
We fight witch is disappointing
My parents used to say don't talk to him
But when they’re gone it’s just going to be us
I know he is sometimes mean and annoying
I cherish our fun moments witch is nuts
Even if we do not talk we are always there to help
We like the same stuff and sometimes we get into fights
We have always gotten along together
Deep down I know he is bright
My brother is always so grumpy
I am always happy and he is smells funky
We look alike but we are different
He is like a sloth I am like a monkey
He always teases me which I do not mind
Sometimes I laugh because they are clever
I get him mad witch I find funny
But we are stuck forever
Since we were little I looked up to him
He was my idol even though he dint care about me
He has been my role model and who I care about
Many say to not do that but I disagree
My brother is always been funny and I want to copy that
My mom says that I look like his mirror
But I kind of do because I look him
Sometimes he treats me worse than my sister
My brother has changed me
He changed me he taught a lot
Even though my brother is nice
He always thinks he is a big shot
The moral of the story is
Even if you don’t get along
Try to get along even if you don’t want to
Because at the end all you have is family

Main Article---ALCOHOL ABUSE
Many people think that drinking
alcohol is fine and nothing will happen but I disagree. Drinking can cause many
problems.
Alcohol Abuse is when people drink
to forget pain, another reason why people may drink is to party, others may
drink just to relax, and there are people who just drink for any reason and
take anything as an excuse to drink those people are called alcoholics. Many people
think that alcohol is just a friendly drink and if you drink it you will look
cool in front of other people.
An article that has the same claim as me is ALCOHOL ABUSE AND ALCOHOLICS. The website
name is www.helpguide.org. I choose this article because it says “It’s not always easy to see
when your drinking has crossed the line from moderate or social use to problem
drinking. But if you consume alcohol to cope with difficulties or to avoid
feeling bad, you’re in potentially dangerous territory. Alcoholism and alcohol
abuse can sneak up on you, so it’s important to be aware of the warning signs
and take steps to cut back if you recognize them. Understanding the problem is
the first step to overcoming it.”
What the article is saying is that getting attached to alcohol easy to do and
can easily become your worst nightmare.
The truth is you
might look cool drinking, but there are many repercussions like, you could get
alcohol poisoning off your first drink and die. Another thing that could happen
is you get drunk and pass out, you may think passing out is no big deal but it
is because while you are intoxicated and passed out you could get raped or
Kidnaped.
Adults are not the only people that
get hooked and alcohol easily but many under aged teens also becomes alcoholics
at a very young age. In the article teenage drinking by www.help guide.org, it
says. “More than half of American youth
ages twelve to twenty have tried alcohol. Girls are nearly as likely as boys to
experiment with drinking. Underage and binge drinking is risky and can lead to
car accidents, violent behavior, alcohol poisoning and other health problems.
Drinking at a young age greatly increase the risk of developing alcohol
poisoning, And other health problems later in life. Talking to kids early and
openly about the risks of drinking can help reduce their chances of becoming
problem drinkers”.
Binge drinking is often popular with
teenagers. This happens when teenagers
just drink non-stop and forget about the consequences. Binge drinking is a
mental disorder because since your body is so used to drinking if you try to
stop it will be the same as trying to stop eating because if you don’t eat you
start to go crazy because your body is begging for food because it is used to
eating. It is imperative that people don’t drink because if you don’t drink you
don’t have to worry about having hangovers, being drunk, passing out, etc.
If you do decide to drink here are
some of the symptoms that you might go through if you binge drink or abuse of
alcohol. One of the symptoms is if you constantly drink is getting drunk.
Getting drunk is basically not knowing what you are doing and not being
conscious of your surrounding basically all your guards go down and you cant
control yourself or what you are doing.
Another symptoms is having a hang over, A hang over is when all the
alcohol is leaving your body, A fun fact is that it takes one hour for one
drink to get out of your body. Therefore it is not a good idea to drink and the best advise I can possibly give
is don’t drink.

How does alcohol abuse affect our community?
There are many
ways alcohol abuse can affect our community .There is someone killed every
22mins related to alcohol .According to the Center for Disease Control in
Atlanta there are 105,000 alcohol related deaths annually due to drunken
driving deaths or alcohol injuries or diseases .according to Dallas times
alcohol related deaths are the leading cause to young people’s deaths .
Alcohol abuse can affect teens living in our
community. Teens usually like to party on usually there’s alcohol involved
,most of them do not relies there at risk of alcohol poisoning ;alcohol
poisoning slows down your brain functions so you lose your sense of balance
affects your nerves that controls your breathing and heartbeat and stops both .When
teens use alcohol they don’t maxims the alcohol usage and start have some alcohol
poisoning syndromes and they don’t even
know there having, here are some alcohol poisoning some syndromes ; vomiting, confusion,
seizures, and many more .When you have these or other common syndromes. When
you have theis syndromes you usually need hospital admission and what they do
there is usually IV fluids and observations.
Many people think that drinking alcohol is fine and nothing
will happen but I disagree. Drinking can cause many problems. Such ass , brain
damages, bad kidneys , and heart attack. Many people think that alcohol is just
friendly drink and if you drink if you will look cool in front of other people.
An article that has the same
claim as me is alcohol abuse and alcoholics. The website name is www.helpguide.org. I choose this article
because it says” It’s not always easy to see when your drinking has crossed the
line from moderate or social use to problem drinking. But if you consume
alcohol to cope with difficulties or to avoid feeling bad, you’re in
potentially dangerous territory. Alcoholism and alcohol abuse can sneak up on
you, so it’s important to be aware of the warning signs and take steps to cut
back if you recognize them. Understanding
This is an issue in the community
of Huntington Park because it affects a lot of teenagers and they get addicted
to alcohol. Many people fail to realize that alcohol abuse is a real problem and
can only change attitude , but could
also lead to death.
For Instance, teens should not
drink alcohol because they could possibly become addicted to alcohol. This is
important because teens will have difficulties in life and drinking alcohol as
a teen is dangerous. This matters because alcohol could disrupt them at a time
when they’re making an important decision , it could affect your ability to retain
verbal information. Therefore, teens should not be allowed to drink because it
makes a big factor to them that you never know what to expect. While others believe that teens should drink alcohol ? ,
this continues to be an issue because they’re underage and it’s illegal for
teens to be drinking at such a young age. For Instance , alcohol should not be
given to teens because it will damage their health and it can cause death. This
means that alcohol is a big problem in the community and teens will be affected
by physical and mental health problems. This matters because parents wouldn’t
like to see their child by alcohol. Ultimately, alcohol should not be given to
underage teens because it damages their health and causes risk in their life.
Lastly, this issue has became a
problem because alcohol causes brain damage, memory loss, serious mental health
problems, and alcohol dependence or alcoholism. For instance alcohol is one
reason why that teens die but it doesn’t only affect them it affects their
family. This means that teens should stop drinking alcohol because it changes
them and their attitude. Therefore, alcohol should not be given to teens. This
matters because, underage drinking is leading public health problem , alcohol
is very powerful , and it’s addictive drug that is damaging or even lethal in
high doses. Ultimately, teens should be banned from drinking alcohol because it’s
not right for teens to be drinking.
It is time that teens should stop
drinking because they don’t know what they put inside alcohol and anything
could happen if you’re a teen that drinks. Even though others may argue that
alcohol should be allowed for teens I believe that underage should not be
allowed anywhere because it’s illegal and dangerous for young teens to be
drinking.
Do you want
a world where teenagers die of Alcohol abuse? For years, teen Alcohol abuse has been an issue in this world.
Unfortunately, we have failed to realize that we can do something about alcohol
abuse. Therefore, I propose that we do after school clubs to prevent teen alcohol abuse. This is necessary because
this can be a solution to help teenagers
with alcohol abuse.
A reason why we should do after school
clubs for teen alcohol abuse is because, I think this could really help them
with their alcohol abuse problems. It would open their eyes to see what is
wrong and what is right. For instance, this could help them with their health.
If they stop drinking this will make them healthier. This proves that there
liver won’t be getting damaged. This matters because their health matters.
Therefore, they could choose to go and get help. And they would be healthy if
they choose to get the help.
Furthermore, the implementation of
clubs for Alcohol abuse is necessary because some teenagers would like to get
help to stop drinking. For instance, there many teens that need help but they
don’t want to talk to their parents. This proves that maybe these clubs could
help them open their mind and could talk to someone. This matters because by
talking to someone it could help them get a solution to stop drinking. Therefore if they talk to someone they could
see why their drinking and get a
solution to help them stop.
Opponent, so many argue that even if they go to clubs to stop
drinking they could just lie and say that
they have stop drinking but still be drinking. This argument is invalid
because, why would they go get help if their still going to be drinking? In the
long run, this solution would be the best option. Given these points I think this could really
help people.

ACROSS A HUNDRED MOUNTAINS (Pedro Mondragon)
BLOCK:4
BY: Reyna Grande
Do you like a story about Murder and suspense? .In the story Across a Hundred Mountains by Reyna Grande she tells us a story about Juana which was a campesina that is very poor and come from a family with bad luck. For example in the beginning of the story it tells us that Juana the protagonist is told to take care of her baby sister while sitting on the top of a table While being exhausted and hungry because the little-shack that they lived in witch had a cardboard roof and mud for floor had flooded because the river had over flown because of all the hard rain. While Juana was taking care of Anita Juana tried her best to not fall asleep but she failed and Anita fell from the table and into the water… And you know what happens when a new born goes inside water with no supervision…
Many may say that it is Juana that killed her baby sister but I disagree. The reason I disagree is because before the whole incident started, Juana and her mother where praying so her father could OK and they prayed for a very long time and Juana was tire cold and hungry. When Juana’s mom Lupe saw that Juana was falling asleep she told Juana “ go to bed Juana, you’ve done your part ,my daughter,go to sleep”(7) this quote supports my thesis statement because Lupe knew that Juana was tired but she still left an infant with a tired little girl that can barely take care of herself. This also shows that Lupe is an irresponsible mother.
Another quote that supports my thesis statement is when Juana was taking care of Anita, and while Juana was on the table holding Anita she thought to herself ”I tried not to think about how hungry or how cold I was or heavy my eyelids felt”(8) this supports my claim because if you have not slept and you are cold with an empty stomach is bad because when it is cold your body gets tire easier and since you have no food you are out of energy. It is a miracle that Juana did not die of starvation.
Even though others may argue that it was not Lupe’s fault but Anita’s fault for falling asleep is completely ridiculous because if you know a child can barely stay awake and is very tired and hungry you let the child sleep you don’t really another human life with her.
That is my thoughts on why Anita is innocent and Lupe is guilty for Anita’s death.
